Commerce & Marketing Co-op Diploma Program

Overview

The Commerce & Marketing Co-op Diploma program focuses on the fundamental principles of business, providing graduates with hands-on skills to gain employment in the commerce and marketing sector. The program incorporates current business concepts and real-life examples to illustrate a global view of the corporate commerce and marketing environment.


Program Details

  • Program Length: 30 months (total 120 weeks)
    • Academic Study: 12 months (total 952 hours)
    • Co-op: 12 months (total 952 hours)
  • Offered Location: Vancouver
  • Start Dates:
    • 2026: January 19, August 31
    • 2027: April 12
  • Co-op: The program includes a strong co-op system with a solid foundation of host company partnerships across various industries, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in getting work placement in an English environment.
  • Credential: Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive a Commerce & Marketing Co-op Diploma.

Admission Requirements

English Admission Requirement

  • Completion of EAP 300 with a final grade of 75% from VanWest College (Vancouver or Kelowna)
  • IELTS Academic 5.5+
  • TOEFL IBT 65+
  • Duolingo 100+
  • Cambridge English Qualifications: B2 First exam (FCE): Minimum overall score of 160 or grade "C"
  • EIKEN Pre-1 with a combined score of at least 2450
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with no single score lower than 50 or with an overall score of 52 and above
