Entry Requirements
Domestic
- Successful completion of an Undergraduate degree from a recognized higher education institution, with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0.
- Some background or experience in a relevant discipline (including Engineering, Technology, or Science) would be an advantage.
- Applicants who have successfully completed a relevant degree with a GPA of at least 1.5 out of 4, will be considered if they have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- It is a requirement that the bachelor's degree was completed with no more than 25 per cent of subjects failed.
International
- Successful completion of an Undergraduate degree from a recognized higher education institution, with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0.
- Some background or experience in a relevant discipline (including Engineering, Technology, or Science) would be an advantage.
- Applicants who have successfully completed a relevant degree with a GPA of at least 1.5 out of 4, will be considered if they have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- It is a requirement that the bachelor's degree was completed with no more than 25 per cent of subjects failed.
- Valid minimum scores include:
- IELTS overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
- PTE overall score of 58+ with no communicative skill below 50
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) 176 with no component less than 169
Course Progression
- Students are expected to maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout their studies.
- Students must achieve a Pass in each subject in order to progress through their course.
- Students who do not successfully complete a subject will normally be required to repeat the subject when it is next offered.

- Assessment is criterion-referenced, and clear rubrics are provided for students to follow.
- Grade scales and categories are: High Distinction (HD) 85-100%, Distinction (D) 75-84%, Credit (C) 65-74%, Pass (P) 50-64%, Fail (F) 0-49%
