Program Information
The Rowan Experience
The Online B.A. in Liberal Studies: Humanities/Social Science degree completion program is designed for those who possess at least 24 college credits and want to complete a bachelor's degree in a convenient setting. This quality liberal studies program offers students solid academic preparation and is ideal for working adults who need a bachelor's degree in order to pursue a career or advance in their current position.
The online courses that make up the 36 semester hours provided by this program have been carefully chosen from Rowan's Philosophy and PR in the Workplace programs to provide the interpersonal awareness, communication skills and cultural sensitivity often required for upper level positions. Philosophy courses promote rigorous inquiry involving both analytical and integrative reasoning, and provide crucial tools for decision making. PR courses provide an understanding of the impact of public opinion on the success of an organization and effective written and verbal communication skills.
