The Aircraft Gas Turbine Technician program at BCIT is a 38-week full-time program that provides students with the skills and knowledge to inspect and repair gas turbine engines in accordance with aviation standards and regulations. The program consists of three terms, covering topics such as gas turbine engine operation, disassembly and assembly, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting. Upon successful completion, graduates will be qualified to work in power plant shops of airlines, repair and overhaul shops of engine manufacturers, and independent owners across Canada.
