The New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 4) (Health Science Pathway) equips students with the academic skills, scientific knowledge, and hands-on experience necessary for entry into tertiary-level health science studies. Through a combination of classroom lectures, laboratory work, and online learning, students develop a strong foundation in areas such as effective learning strategies, numeracy skills for health and science, and biology, microbiology, and chemistry fundamentals. The program prepares graduates for entry into the UCOL Bachelor of Nursing and other health science-related careers.
