Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
The Doctor of Business Administration is a terminal qualification offered within the university education system. Upon successful completion, graduates are afforded the salutation of Dr. within their prefix, signaling their membership in an elite group of individuals who are the most upstanding members of society.
Course Overview
The DBA program seeks to encourage students to use existing organizational models and theories, analyze and evaluate them, and influence practices within their respective fields. Students will learn from expert teachers and researchers, enabling them to create their unique piece of research to add to the educational ecosystem.
Course Summary
The Doctor of Business Administration is an integrated coursework and research program that may be completed in a minimum of two and a half years.
Phase 1
The coursework component consists of the first year, with courses conducted in the classroom in an intensive workshop model with face-to-face contact. All modules are assessed by written assignments. The transition between the coursework phase and the research phase is by the candidate satisfactorily completing the set of assessed Research Proposals (one for each research project).
Phase 2
On satisfactory completion of the coursework units, candidates enter the research phase where they undertake individual, supervised research projects. The output of each research project is a research paper of publishable style and quality. The portfolio of research papers is submitted for external examination.

Admission Criteria
- Filled out application form
- 1000 word outline of proposed research topic/idea
- Complete CV indicating professional experiences and description of responsibilities
- Copy of MBA degree (or related Master degree e.g. economics, business)
- Copy of MBA/Master transcripts
- Proof of English Skills (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, other) unless previous education was conducted in English
