BTEC HND in Computing

The BTEC HND in Computing is an internationally recognized higher education qualification equivalent to the first two years of a university degree. This program is designed for individuals who wish to progress straight to the final year of an Undergraduate IT Degree or develop a career in the public or private business sector.

Course Fees

The course fees for Level 4 are 40,000 AED a year, subject to 5% VAT. Meritorious scholarships and discounts are available.

Course Requirements

To progress onto Level 5, students must first have completed Level 4 or equivalent. Applicants must:

• Be aged 18 or over
• Have a level 3 qualification to progress to level 4 / level 4 to progress to level 5
• Provide proof of English language ability
• Alternatively, if applying as a mature student, must have GCSEs (or equivalent) as well as relevant work experience

Placement Assistance

The program helps students who wish to embark on or advance in a career involving Computing. The Pearson BTEC Level 4 & 5 is equivalent to the second year of a university degree, allowing students to progress onto a range of degree top-up programs at various higher education providers, including top universities in the UK.

Duration and Delivery

The program duration is 18-24 months, and it is delivered full-time in English.

Scholarship

Upto 25% scholarship is available for meritorious students.

Language

The program is taught in English.
