CPD Developments in Renal Care

Course Overview

This course aims to enhance knowledge, skills, and attitudes in relation to the current renal clinical working environment. It will also develop a critical understanding of care in relation to renal care and enable delivery of high-quality patient/client-centered care.

Entry Requirements

Qualification Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree: Applicants should hold a BA/BSc (Hons) degree in a relevant subject at a 2:2 level or higher.
  • Professional registration and/or experience: We also welcome applications from those who can demonstrate appropriate professional registration and/or experience in a relevant clinical specialty.

Further Information

  • Extra Requirements: You must have at least 1 year post-registration, have studied to Diploma Level, and be working in a renal / ITU/HDU clinical area. Staff working outside of these areas are to contact the programme leader Mrs Cheryl Grimes, to discuss work place and ability to meet the programme and assessment objectives.

Assessment

  • 3 seminar presentations relating to your learning agreement
  • A portfolio of evidence demonstrating agreed objectives within your learning agreement

CPD Award

This Continuing Professional Development programme can be studied within the MSc Advanced Healthcare Practice (Clinical) award framework or as a single CPD.
