Global Buddhism Course

Course Description

The Global Buddhism course explores the aspects of a concrete religion in its modern and contemporary configurations, represented by different topics such as spirituality, diversity, (de)colonization, (identity) politics, 'Easternization', and materiality. The course uses the intersections of globalization, migration, and transnational networks as a main theoretical framework.
