Program Overview

The Advanced Model-Based System Engineering Certificate Program (Advanced MBSE) is a comprehensive continuation of Caltech's MBSE Fundamentals course. This program focuses on applying the full construct of SysML elements in the nine SysML diagrams, covering the requirements for OMG SysML certification exams for all four levels, including SysML Model Builder Intermediate and Advanced.

Program Experience

The 48-hour live online program showcases the power of MBSE on system of systems through functional decomposition, requirements space, and systems structural decomposition. Participants will have access to hands-on training using Dassault Magic System of Systems Architecture and experience real-world application of MBSE on a class project.

Pre-requisites

Pre-requisite: Caltech’s Model-Based Systems Engineering certificate course or equivalent course/hands-on experience. You must understand the notation for all nine SysML diagrams and be able to create them with Cameo Systems Modeler.
