Overview of the MD/JD Program
The University of Miami School of Law, in partnership with the University's Miller School of Medicine, offers a dual degree program that allows students to obtain both MD and JD degrees in six years. The law curriculum prepares medical students for careers in health sector law, leadership, and policy, as well as for the legal aspects of running a private medical practice or heading a group practice.
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to this program, students must be admitted to the Miller School of Medicine M.D. program and be in good standing.
