Master Computer Science

The Master Computer Science is a joint program of the UvA and the VU, with classes held at both universities. Depending on your interest, you can choose one of the five specializations offered by the master's program:

Program Overview

In our globalized, connected society, computer technology is ubiquitous. While the computer itself was once the primary focus, the Master Computer Science program now revolves around globally distributed information processing services, where the internet connects a wide range of information processing devices.

Career Prospects

After completing this master's program, you can pursue various career paths, ranging from software development to system design. Continuing your career with a PhD position is also a possibility.
