University of Oklahoma Outreach Data Analytics Bootcamp

The University of Oklahoma Outreach Data Analytics Bootcamp is designed for students to pursue high-quality tech education while continuing to balance other commitments. Our part-time and full-time program options provide the flexibility to fit career development into your life.


Program Overview

  • The bootcamp is powered by Fullstack Academy, a top-ranked immersive school for tech training.
  • The program focuses on generative AI, equipping students with AI-driven techniques for data processing, visualization, and decision-making.
  • Students will learn advanced features and formulas in Microsoft Excel, create presentations using data storytelling techniques and visualizations, and design, learn, and apply SQL for database definition and manipulation.

Curriculum

  • The curriculum teaches practical and technical skills using real-world scenarios, the latest technology, and hands-on projects.
  • Students will learn:
    • Business Analytics with Excel
    • SQL: Data Acquisition and Manipulation
    • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Data Processes
    • Data Visualization Using Tableau
    • Fundamentals of Python Programming
    • Data Analytics with Python
    • Essentials of Generative AI
    • Applications of Generative AI in Data Analytics
    • Ethics in Data Analytics

Career Support

  • Students will gain valuable insight into how to build a successful career in data analytics from day one of the course.
  • The career success team will provide workshops, one-on-one office hours, and phone chats before big interviews.
  • Alumni will have access to a job board and be connected with companies and organizations in the Employer Partner Network that are actively seeking qualified candidates.

Admission Criteria

  • To be eligible for the program, students must be at least 18 years old and a high school grad/GED holder by the start date of their intended cohort.
  • No prior experience is required to apply, be accepted, or succeed in the program.

Tuition Fees

  • The tuition fee for the bootcamp is $9,995.
  • Students can pay upfront and save $3,000 on tuition, or pay in installments and save $2,000 on tuition.
  • Students can also pay with a loan through an external lending provider and save $1,000 on tuition.

Program Schedule

  • The part-time program is held weekly on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00pm-10:00pm CT.
  • The full-time program is held Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm CT.
  • Students can expect to spend 6-8 hours studying and working on outside assignments each week.
