Program Overview

The Frühstudium program is designed for high school students in the upper gymnasial classes, with a focus on mathematics.

Target Audience

• The program is intended for mathematically inclined youth aged around 15 years and above, particularly those considering a Maturarbeit in mathematics, the UZH-Schülerstudium in mathematics, or a MINT study.

Program Details

• Duration: The program runs from October 25, 2025, to April 11, 2026, with the possibility of continuation after the spring break.
• Schedule: Classes are held every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
• Location: The program takes place at the University of Zurich, Zentrum, Room KOL-G-221, and is also offered online simultaneously.
• Cost: The program costs 100 CHF, with three "test lessons" offered free of charge.

Curriculum

The program provides an introduction to central concepts in analysis, such as derivatives and integrals, and explores how these concepts are used to describe and understand real phenomena.
