Program Overview

The MCD4. Accessibilitat i Interpretació: de la Llengua Escrita a la Llengua Signada program is dedicated to the study of written texts from a sign language accessibility perspective. It offers techniques and strategies for accessing written language addressed to deaf signers, centered on the analysis of cohesion, coherence, and linguistic context to make the corresponding transfer to the target language, which is Catalan Sign Language (LSC).

  • Comprensió i anàlisi del discurs escrit català/castellà: Fridays from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Poblenou Campus
  • Tècniques d’interpretació: català/castellà escrit > LSC: Fridays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Poblenou Campus

Fees and Financial Aid

• Preu: 1,000 euros
• Preu reduït: 300 euros (applicable to residents of the Spanish State and aged between 25 and 64 years, thanks to the subsidy of the "Plan for the development of University Microcredentials")
• Additional financial aid: The first 20 people enrolled in this microcredential who meet the requirements for the Santander Scholarship: Microcredentials 2025 will receive an aid of 300 euros after the registration process.

Admission Requirements

• Nivell de competència en LSC mínim C1: Minimum level of competence in LSC C1
