English Literature and Creative Writing BA (Hons)

The English Literature and Creative Writing BA (Hons) course at Northumbria University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of literary studies and creative writing. Entry Requirements

The standard entry requirements for the course are:

• 96 to 112 Tariff Points
• A-level, T Level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate
• GCSE Requirements: Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C
• International Qualifications: We welcome applicants with a range of qualifications which may not match those shown above
• English Language Requirements: International applicants should have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component

Fees and Funding

The fees for the course are:

• UK Fee in Year 1: TBC
• International Fee in Year 1: £19,850
• Additional costs: Students are expected to purchase or print copies of primary materials (novels, collections of poetry, plays, etc.) for their own personal use, approximately £100 per year
