University of the Punjab

Admission Criteria

The admission criteria for the program are as follows:

• Eligibility:
  • 16 years of education in Accounting and Finance/ Commerce or Equivalent Degree with 1st Division or 60% Marks or 2.5 CGPA out of 4 (if it represents 60% or more in case of CGPA).
  • The candidate must also meet HEC criteria, e.g., passing Entry Test with a minimum raw score of 50 out of 100, and any other criteria laid down by the University of the Punjab.
  • No third division in the whole career.
  • Qualifying marks in the admission test conducted by the University are 50%.
  • Qualifying marks in the interview are 50%.
  • Punjab University Graduate Entry Test is Mandatory.
• Additional Marks:
  • Hafiz-e-Quran: 20 Marks.
• Merit Formula:
  • Academic Record 100%.
