University of Helsinki Program Information

The University of Helsinki operates on four campuses in Helsinki and in ten other locations. The campuses include:


  • City Centre Campus: Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Swedish School of Social Sciences
  • Kumpula Campus: Faculty of Science

UNITalent Programme

The HelsinkiUNI International Talent (UNITalent) programme is designed to provide international students and doctoral researchers with information on professional life and contacts. The programme has been organised five times, with a total of 28 host organisations and over 600 international students and doctoral researchers participating.


Programme Details

  • The programme aims to support the University's international talent by sharing information on professional networks and explaining the unwritten rules of recruitment.
  • Host organisations organise at least three meetings on their premises, allowing them to meet motivated students and consider their language practices and diversity in work communities.
  • The programme period typically lasts for three months.

  • Participation in the UNITalent programme is free for businesses, with only a time commitment of roughly 20 hours required.
