Doctor of Audiology Program

The Doctor of Audiology program at Vanderbilt University provides future audiologists with expert faculty engagement, numerous clinical training opportunities, and cutting-edge research experiences in hearing healthcare.

Specialty Tracks in Audiology

  • Pediatric Audiology: Students enrolled in this track will have additional coursework and practicum experience that will prepare them to work with infants and children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Vestibular Sciences: Students who choose this track will gain specialized skills in the assessment of the peripheral and central vestibular system along with an understanding of rehabilitative options available to patients with either unilateral or bilateral vestibular system impairments.

Accreditation Information

The Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) education program in audiology (residential) at Vanderbilt University is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech Language-Hearing Association.
