The Diploma of Indigenous Entrepreneurship and Innovation is a culturally enriched educational journey designed to blend traditional knowledge with modern business practices. This innovative course offers a culturally sensitive and dynamic educational journey, equipping students with applied entrepreneurship and digital business skills to navigate the dynamic landscapes of today's markets.


Overview

The Diploma of Indigenous Entrepreneurship and Innovation will provide students with the opportunity to apply theoretical concepts in practical ways, enhancing their entrepreneurial abilities. Throughout their studies, students will participate in yarns and apply concepts that will enrich their business. One of the unique aspects of this course is the support students will receive from Indigenous industry professionals, who will act as coaches and guide their learning journey, offering insights and experiences that support their business idea or the growth of their business.

  • Effective Storytelling for Entrepreneurs (BUSN11023)
  • Entrepreneurial Life Design (BUSN11024)
  • Community Social Impact and Engagement (BUSN11022)
  • The 4 Ps of Business (Process, Production, Precision, and Protection) (BUSN11027)
  • The ABC's (Analysis, Bias, and Connections) of Big Data (BUSN11028)
  • The Innovation Culture (BUSN11029)

Additional Information

Credit transfer is available for students who have completed prior study relevant to units within this course. Students can learn more about credit and recognition of prior learning.

Students must meet the inherent requirements for this course to successfully complete their studies and participate in this profession.


Fees and Scholarships

The indicative first-year fee for the course is $16,992 (CSP). The course has Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) available, and domestic students will be offered a CSP, provided they meet CSP eligibility requirements. Students may be eligible for a HECS-HELP government loan if they are offered a CSP.
