Communication and Academic Skills Programme

The communication and academic skills program complements students' main course of study, introducing them to writing and presenting within academic contexts sensitive to specific disciplines. This program develops students' competences for future careers.

• Notes and Other Requirements: Applicants in possession of the Diploma in Social Work of this University, or a comparable qualification in an area related to Social Work or Social Policy, may also be admitted to the course.
• English Proficiency Test: Required for applicants in terms of the 'maturity (adult learners) clause'
• Interview: Required for successful applicants
• Learning Portfolio: May be required for further assessment
• Police Certificate of Conduct: Required for all applicants
