Introduction to the Program
The Digital Media and Communication program at Nanjing University is designed to cultivate high-level professionals with modern communication concepts, mastery of the latest digital media technologies, and a willingness to become cultural communicators and inheritors of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
Program Overview
The program is based on the university's and department's strong faculty, aiming to train students from countries along the "Belt and Road" to become excellent high-level specialists in news and communication. Upon completing the program, students will be awarded a master's degree in News and Communication.
Faculty and Research
The News and Communication discipline at Nanjing University is the origin of higher education in audio-visual communication in China. The college has three departments: Broadcasting, Film, and Television, Applied Communication, and News and New Media, as well as eight research institutions, including Network Communication, Media Economics and Management, and Computational Communication Research. The News and Communication discipline at the university is ranked among the top ten in China.

The program aims to cultivate professionals with modern communication concepts, mastery of the latest digital media technologies, and a commitment to promoting the community of human destiny.
Program Requirements
- The program is open to international students from countries along the "Belt and Road" who have a bachelor's degree or above, are physically healthy, and have an HSK level of 5 or above.
- Students who have not reached the HSK level of 5 can enroll in a one-year Chinese language preparatory course before entering the professional program.
- The language of instruction is Chinese.
- The program duration is two years.

The tuition fee is 30,000 yuan per academic year (approximately 4,300 USD).
