Bachelor of Commerce / Juris Doctor
The integrated program in business and Common Law allows future lawyers and individuals interested in management to understand the issues and analyzes that affect these two complementary disciplines. It enables them to satisfy the requirements of two degrees in six years and obtain two distinct diplomas at the end of their studies: the Bachelor of Commerce (with or without a mention of the French immersion program for Anglophones) and the Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Graduates are eligible to take the bar exams and practice law anywhere in Canada (except in Quebec).
Program Structure
- 60% of all B.Com. courses taken as part of the combined program must be in French.
- This program can be done in a French immersion program.
- Starting from autumn 2025, newly admitted students must obtain a minimum cumulative grade point average (MPC) of 8.3 by the end of their second year to be eligible for the Faculty of Law.
