Engineering Management MEM Degree Program

Engineering management is where applied engineering and business acumen intersect. Michigan Tech's accredited master's degree in engineering management (MEM) is designed for people with previous engineering experience or STEM education.

Admissions Requirements

Applications are reviewed on an individual basis using a holistic approach. The requirements include:

• Two Letters of Recommendation
• Resume/Curriculum Vitae
• Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale
• Prerequisites: MA3710 Engineering Statistics (or any other statistics course, CEE3710 Statistics for Civil Engineering)
• GRE/GMAT not required
• No additional documents accepted

International Students

International students must meet the following requirements:

• TOEFL: Recommended Score of 95 iBT
• IELTS: Recommended Overall Band Score of 7.0
• English Proficiency is required for all applicants who do not come from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand
• Michigan Tech requires a minimum of 79 overall TOEFL or 6.5 overall IELTS score

Admissions Decisions

Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis, with recommended deadlines of July 1 for the Fall Semester and December 1 for the Spring Semester.
