Introduction to the MS in Global Clinical and Pharmacovigilance Regulations

The MS in Global Clinical and Pharmacovigilance Regulations is a graduate program designed for individuals with a PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school or an MD degree. The program is open to students who have earned their MD degrees from international schools, provided they include a WES evaluation with their application.


Application Requirements

To apply for the MS in Global Clinical and Pharmacovigilance Regulations, applicants must meet the following requirements:


  • Have a PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school or an MD degree
  • Submit a paper application
  • Include supporting materials such as:
    • Biographical data and work experience
    • Dates of attendance at all post-secondary institutions
    • Activities and accomplishments
    • Nonrefundable application fee of $75
    • Letters of Reference: two letters sent directly to the RA and QA office
    • Statement of Goals: a statement of professional goals and objectives
    • Résumé or CV: a signed copy of the most recent résumé or CV
    • Official Transcripts: from all post-secondary institutions attended

International Applicants

International students must submit additional materials, including:


  • TOEFL score or IELTS score for non-native English speakers who have not earned a U.S. academic degree
  • A course-by-course evaluation of foreign transcripts through a third-party provider such as World Education Services (WES) or Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE)
  • Consult with Temple's Office of International Students and Scholars for information on visa requirements

Application Deadlines

Materials must be received by the following dates:


  • Fall (September) admission: July 1
  • Spring (January) admission: November 1
  • Summer (May) admission: March 1

Admission Process

The admission process involves the following steps:


Step 1: Application Requirements

Applicants should review the important information about application requirements.


Step 2: Apply and Submit Supporting Materials

Applicants should submit a paper application and supporting materials.


Step 3: Receive Reply

Within two weeks of submitting the application and all supporting materials, applicants should contact the admissions office to verify that their file is complete. The Admissions Committee will review the materials, and it takes a minimum of six to eight weeks to receive a final decision on acceptance.
