BSc (Hons) Mathematics with Spanish

The BSc Mathematics with Spanish programme combines a rigorous education in mathematical theory and practice, developing expertise across pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and computational mathematics with the opportunity to master a modern language taught by discipline experts. Students also have the opportunity to study mathematics at a Spanish partner institution, the University in Granada, during their third year. This programme teaches a comprehensive programme in modern mathematics, including courses that emphasize practical and transferable skills, IT expertise, and career readiness.

  • Optional courses: Spanish Intermediate 1, French Intermediate 1, German Intermediate 1

Year 2

  • Mandatory courses: Applied Mathematics A, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra
  • Optional courses: Spanish Advanced 1, French Advanced 1, German Advanced 1

Year 3

  • Mandatory: Year Abroad

Year 4
