Introduction to the Beijing Normal University Psychology Department's Director Training Project

The Beijing Normal University Psychology Department is launching the second phase of its Director Training Project, focusing on education and school psychology. This project aims to cultivate high-level directors who can lead the development of educational and school psychological services.

Project Background

The project is designed to address the growing concern of psychological health issues among children and adolescents in China. The Chinese government has emphasized the need to construct a high-quality school psychological health education system, with professionalized faculty construction as a core task. However, the current lack of professional directors in school psychology is a significant challenge.

Course Features

The project has several key features:

• Authority Platform and Top-Notch Faculty: The project is supported by Beijing Normal University's top-ranked psychology department and features a team of renowned experts in school psychology.
• Focus on Schools: The curriculum is tailored to the school psychology work scenario, covering three core modules: clinical director foundation, education and school psychology director core, and director ethics and professional development.
• Long-Term System and Practical Emphasis: The project adopts a "theory + simulation + practice" three-stage training model, spanning nine months with a total of 178 hours or more.
• Certification Value and Development Opportunities: Participants can obtain recognized certification and have opportunities to become signed directors of the Beijing Normal University MAP-ESP project.

Course Arrangement

The project is divided into three stages:

1. Concentrated Training: From October 19, 2025, to December 21, 2025, with online lectures every Saturday and Sunday.
2. Training: From October 19, 2025, to March 1, 2026, with simulation training and guidance.
3. SOS (Director's Director): From March 1, 2026, to June 13, 2026, with individual director practice and group SOS.

The project is designed for individuals who are committed to improving school psychological services and becoming professional directors. Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:

• Senior school psychological workers
• Registered psychologists or directors
• Holders of master's or higher degrees in clinical and consulting psychology or school psychology
• Experts in related fields

Application Instructions

1. Training time: October 2025 to August 2026
2. Training format: Online training
3. Application time: Now until September 30, 2025
4. Admission method: Auditing (application materials + interview)
5. Enrollment: 50 people or less
6. Interview time: Around October 15, 2025

1. Training fee: 16,800 yuan (social price) or 15,800 yuan (preferential price)

Certificate of Completion

Upon completing the required hours and passing the assessment, participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Psychology Department of Beijing Normal University, with a total of 178 hours.
