Master of Science in Biotechnology: Biochemistry Track
The Master of Science in Biotechnology (MS-Biotech) program is an interdisciplinary program offered by the Departments of Biochemistry, Neurosciences, and Pharmacology. The program offers a choice of three specialization tracks:
- Biochemistry Track
- Neurosciences Track
- Pharmacology Track
Program Overview
The Biochemistry Track is designed to provide students with broad exposure to cutting-edge experimental techniques used in the biotechnology industry today. The first year includes hands-on labs with a focus on molecular and biochemical approaches. Students can customize their second year with electives and an internship.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biological sciences, or related areas, along with a minimum GPA of 3.0. International applicants must meet the Graduate School's standards for proficiency in English.
Tuition Fees
Tuition: approximately $21,000 per semester Fees: approximately $3,000 per semester No funding opportunities are available.

- BIOC 407 (4 credit hours): Introduction to Biochemistry: from Molecules to Medical Science
Spring Semester
