Master in Brandsikkerhed

The Master in Brandsikkerhed is a 2-year part-time education that provides students with the knowledge and skills to solve complex problems within fire safety. The program is designed for building engineers, architects, and constructors who lead and coordinate fire technical tasks in private and public companies.

Program Structure

The program consists of 9 course modules and a project assignment, which can be taken individually or as a whole. The program is divided into four semesters, with the first three semesters covering the basic theoretical and practical elements, and the fourth semester focusing on a fire technical project assignment.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the program, students must have a degree in building engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years of full-time work experience after completing their education. Students with a different background may be admitted after a concrete assessment.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee for the entire 2-year program, including the admission course, is 141,500 DKK. The fee includes food and accommodation during the course modules.

Language Requirements

The program is taught in Danish, but some courses may be taught in English. Students must have a good command of both Danish and English to participate in the program.

Certification

The program meets the qualification requirements for certification as a fire consultant in fire class 3 (BK3), fire class 4 (BK4), and third-party control.
