Program Overview
The Intensive English Program (IEP) at Canadian University Dubai (CUD) is designed to equip non-native English speakers with the language proficiency and academic skills necessary for success in university studies and professional communication in English-speaking environments.

Program Format
The program is offered in various formats to cater to different learning needs:
- Private Tutoring: Fully personalized, one-on-one sessions.
- Semi-Private: 2-3 students per session.
- Focused Group: 4-8 students, collaborative setup.
- Standard Cohort: 9-15 students, dynamic classroom.

The IEP runs for 6.5 weeks with daily sessions from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The weekly schedule includes:

Admission Requirements
To ensure students are placed at the appropriate level, all applicants must complete a mandatory English Placement Test prior to enrolment.
- Purpose: Assess proficiency in grammar, reading, writing, and listening to place students in Beginner, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, or Advanced levels.
- Outcome: Determines starting level for a tailored learning experience.
- Prerequisites: No prior English qualifications required, just a willingness to learn.
