Master's Program in Public Health
The Master's program in Public Health at Sorbonne Universitť aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental methods and tools used in public health and biomedical information processing.
Objectives
The objective of the first year of the Master's program in Public Health is to acquire the fundamental methods and tools of the various disciplines of public health and biomedical information processing. Students who have completed a Bachelor's degree in medical or scientific fields or equivalent can apply for this program.
Organization
The Master's program in Public Health is organized over two semesters. Courses are primarily taught in person and may be scheduled over a wide range of hours, from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm. Classes will take place mainly on the Sorbonne Universitť campus (medicine or science), as well as on the University Paris Citť campus or the University Paris Saclay campus (Kremlin BicÍtre site).

All course units (UE) are mandatory.
Semestre 1
- UE 1: Statistical Methodology (METHO) - 9 ECTS
- UE 2: Public Health Issues - 6 ECTS
- UE 3: Introduction to Qualitative Research - 6 ECTS
- UE 4: Documentary Research and Bibliography - 3 ECTS
- UE 5: English - 3 ECTS
- UE 6: Professional Orientation and Integration - 3 ECTS Total mandatory UEs: 30 ECTS
Semestre 2
- UE 7: Epidemiology, Principles, and Quantitative Methods (EPIQ) - 6 ECTS
- UE 8: Statistics in Clinical Research, Methods, and Practice (STARC) - 6 ECTS
- UE 9: Introduction to Data Science (DATA) - 6 ECTS
- UE 10: Introduction to R Software - 3 ECTS
- UE 11: Internship - 9 ECTS Total mandatory UEs: 30 ECTS Total ECTS for S1 and S2: 60 ECTS

Admission
The recruitment campaign for the upcoming academic year is closed. To integrate the Master's 1 in Public Health, students must follow the Mon Master procedure via the designated platform. No applications received by email will be accepted.
Eligibility Criteria
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a mathematical-statistical or life science curriculum.
- Be a student in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, veterinary school, or midwifery, having validated the third year in France.
- Have a minimum C1 level in French and a good level of English.
Continuing Education
There are two regimes for continuing education: Formation Continue Individuelle (FCI) for individual financing and Formation Continue Entreprise (FCE) for company financing.
Tariffs
- FCI: 1,960.00 (excluding university registration fees)
- FCE: 7,000.00 (excluding university registration fees) University registration fees for a Master's degree are 254 for the academic year, subject to change.
Validation of Acquired Experience
There is no recruitment through the validation of acquired experience (VAE) or VAPP for this program.
