Introduction to the PharmD - Clinical Pharmacy Program
The PharmD - Clinical Pharmacy program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the field of pharmacy, with a focus on clinical pharmacy practice. The program aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide high-quality patient care and to contribute to the advancement of the pharmacy profession.
Program Structure
The program consists of 10 semesters, with a total of 206 credit hours. The curriculum is divided into two main components: the didactic component and the clinical component.
Didactic Component

Clinical Component
The clinical component consists of rotations in various clinical settings, where students apply their knowledge and skills in real-world situations.
Course Aims

General and Inorganic Chemistry
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the general principles of chemistry, basic applications of chemical reactions, and fundamentals of modern atomic theory.
Pharmaceutical Biology I
The aim of this course is to provide students with the basic principles of biology, origin of life, and fundamental properties of living organisms.
Physics for Pharmacy
The aim of this course is to provide students with the principles of units and measurements, kinematics, dynamics, and other physical concepts relevant to pharmacy.
Mathematics and Statistics
The aim of this course is to introduce students to mathematical and statistical concepts, including calculus, probability, and statistics.
Introduction to Computer Science
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the basic concepts of computer science, including programming, data structures, and algorithms.
English for Academic Purposes
The aim of this course is to improve students' academic reading and writing skills, enabling them to express their arguments in a well-structured academic written form.
German Language I
The aim of this course is to provide students with basic knowledge of the German language, including pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary.
Assessment and Evaluation
Students are assessed and evaluated throughout the program, using a variety of methods, including written exams, practical exams, quizzes, assignments, and presentations.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate from the program, students must complete all required courses, achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0, and pass a comprehensive exam.
