Biotechnology and Bioanalysis Program

Overview

The Biotechnology and Bioanalysis Program at Benha University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine aims to provide the labor market with outstanding graduates specialized in biotechnology and laboratory chemical analyzes. The program awards a bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine with a focus on biotechnology and biological analysis.

The program's vision is to be an accredited and pioneering program that serves the community by providing graduates with high capabilities and skills in techno-biology and biological analysis.


Mission

The program's mission is to graduate outstanding professionals who can occupy jobs in hospitals as specialists for medical analysis and molecular biology laboratories. This is achieved through academic courses, scientific applications, and laboratory training in specialized laboratories.


About the Program

The program was established by Ministerial Resolution No. 757 of 2/3/2020 and requires 190 credit hours for graduation. The program utilizes classrooms and lab rooms in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department, faculty departments, and the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Joining and Registering Conditions

To join the program, applicants must meet the following conditions:


  1. Hold a high school diploma (Science) or its equivalent.
  2. Transfer from corresponding government faculties according to the conditions set by the Supreme Council of Universities.
  3. Graduates of veterinary medicine faculties and practical faculties (pharmacy, dentistry, medicine, agriculture, nursing, applied medical sciences, health sciences, sciences) can be admitted after studying the necessary subjects.
  4. International students can join according to the conditions set by the Supreme Council of Universities.

Program Requirements

The program requires 190 credit hours for graduation, including:
