Internship at Maersk

The Maersk corporate is launching a paid summer training program, commencing on the 13th of August 2023, with a duration of 4-5 weeks.

Program Objectives

The program aims to:

• Understand the business environment
• Develop students' Technical & Soft skills
• Enhance student Stakeholders' management
• Provide Coaching & Experience sharing

Program Details

The program includes the following components:

• Cross functional (Gemba practice): students will have the opportunity to participate in a Gemba walk and work with cross functional teams to develop and implement solutions
• External visits to sites across Egypt (terminals, warehouses, depots)
• Business Challenge: at the end of the summer training, students will work on a real business challenge to be presented to top management

Needed Criteria

To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following criteria:

• English proficiency: intermediate
• Soft skills (communication, teamwork, time-management, commitment & accountability, adaptability)
• University year: 3 & 4
