Introduction to the Master's Program
The University Senghor offers a Master's program in MaŅtrise d'ouvrage des projets de dķveloppement en Afrique (MAŽTENA) in partnership with the ╔cole Nationale d'Administration de RDC and the Campus of the Agence Franńaise de Dķveloppement. This program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage development projects in Africa.
Presentation of the Program
The program is a response to the need for competent professionals in Africa who can manage development projects effectively. It aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of project management, including planning, implementation, and evaluation. The program also focuses on the specific challenges and opportunities of development projects in Africa, including issues related to governance, finance, and sustainability.
Objectives of the Program
The objectives of the program are to:
- Renforce the capacities of students to implement, manage, and evaluate development projects in Africa
- Provide students with a comprehensive understanding of project management, including planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in development projects in Africa, including issues related to governance, finance, and sustainability
Target Audience
The program is designed for professionals who work in development projects in Africa, including:
- Project managers
- Team leaders
- Consultants

- Officials from public and private institutions
Competencies Acquired
Upon completion of the program, students will acquire the following competencies:
- Understand the challenges and opportunities of development projects in Africa
- Plan, implement, and evaluate development projects
- Manage teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Analyze and solve problems related to development projects
- Develop innovative solutions to development challenges
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the program, students must:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Have at least three years of professional experience in development projects
- Pass a selection test and interview
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the program are $3,600 (or 3,350). Students can pay in three installments:
- $1,600 (or 1,470) upon admission
- $1,600 (or 1,470) after six weeks
- $650 (or 600) after 12 weeks
Duration and Location of the Program
The program lasts for two semesters (one year) and is held at the ╔cole Nationale d'Administration in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. The program is delivered in a hybrid format, with some courses taught online and others in person.
Master Classe
The program includes a Master Classe, which is a series of conferences and workshops that provide students with additional training and networking opportunities. The Master Classe is held before the start of the program and is mandatory for all students.
Mobility of Students
Students have the opportunity to participate in mobility programs, which allow them to study at other universities or institutions in Africa or Europe. This provides students with additional training and networking opportunities, as well as the chance to experience different cultures and learning environments.
Diploma
Upon completion of the program, students are awarded a Master's degree in MaŅtrise d'ouvrage des projets de dķveloppement en Afrique (MAŽTENA). The degree is recognized by the University Senghor and the ╔cole Nationale d'Administration de RDC.
Calendar
The program starts in January 2025, and the application deadline is December 2024. Students can apply online, and the selection process includes a test and an interview.
