Executive MBA Program

The Executive MBA program at KFUPM Business School offers a unique learning opportunity for mid-career and senior executives who wish to enhance their business knowledge and effectiveness while remaining actively involved in their business and professional careers. The program combines academic rigor with real-world applications to ensure relevance and value addition for business executives.

Program Overview

The 20-month Executive MBA program is designed to enhance the effectiveness of business executives in a rapidly changing and globally competitive business environment that demands new perspectives and continuous self-renewal to transform business challenges into opportunities. The program curriculum is geared toward developing strategic thinking, leadership, understanding of the global economy, and use of information technology to prepare participants for challenging roles in their organizations.

Program Structure

• The program is divided into four semesters.
• Classes are held bi-weekly on Thursdays and Fridays.
• Classes start at 7:30 a.m. and finish at 4:30 p.m.
• The residency days are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the Executive MBA program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A four-year Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
• A minimum of 8 years of work experience, including 3 years of mid-managerial experience (after graduation).
• Grade-Point Average (GPA) of 2.50, higher on a scale of 4.00, or equivalent.
• IELTS score of 6+ or TOEFL score of 70+ or Duolingo score of 105+. This requirement is waived for KFUPM graduates and graduates from English-speaking countries (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand).
• A short introductory video, maximum 2 minutes, addressing who you are and why you are applying to this program.
• Three recommendation letters.
• A Statement of Purpose.

Tuition Fees

The Executive MBA tuition is SR 130,000+VAT for the entire program and includes all course materials, textbooks, university fees, continental breakfast, and lunch during the residential period and class days. Tuition is payable in four equal installments of SR 32,500+VAT prior to the start of each of the four semesters.

Application Process

The application process involves the following steps:

1. Application Form: Candidates should complete the application form and ensure they have provided all required documents.
2. Shortlisting: Shortlisted candidates based on their CV and application will be contacted for a personal interview.
3. Personal Interview: Candidates will have a personal interview (face-to-face or via Skype) with representatives from the admissions team.
4. Admission Committee Final Decision: After the interview, the application will be evaluated in-depth by the Admissions Committee, and a final decision will be made.
