The Master of Science in Physics program at the Islamic University of Madinah is designed to provide distinguished education in physics at the graduate level and conduct basic and applied research with high specifications that meet the needs and requirements of the labor market within the framework of Islamic values.

Program Goals
The program goals are to:
- Enable students who hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics to continue their higher studies at the Islamic University

- Take into account the scientific and practical aspects of the application, especially those related to the physical aspects
- Contribute to enriching theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of physics through specialized studies and serious research to reach innovative scientific and applied additions and reveal new facts

Admission Requirements
The admission requirements are:
- The applicant must have a bachelor's degree (regular) from a Saudi academic body or an accredited university in the field of physics or one of its branches (the department council can make an exception to this based on the applicant's academic record), with a cumulative grade point average of no less than (3.50 out of 5). Or (2.50 out of 4)
- The applicant must obtain a minimum score of (65) on the analogy test or a score of (265) on the GRE General test, provided that the result is valid; Not exceeding five years from the date of the test
- The applicant must obtain a minimum score of (450) in the TOEFL-PBT test, or (45) in the TOEFL-IBT test or (4) in the IELTS test or (60) in the STEP test or its equivalent, and it must not have been more than two years since obtaining the English language certificate
- The applicant must submit a Statement of Purpose letter
