About the Program

The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics program at the Islamic University of Madinah is designed to prepare qualified cadres in mathematics and its applications. The program aims to meet the needs of the labor market within the framework of a scientific and research environment that supports innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.

The mission of the program is to prepare students with a strong foundation in mathematics, enabling them to pursue careers in various fields, including education, research, and industry. Program Description

The program is offered by the College of Science, Department of Mathematics, and leads to a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree. The program is taught through a coursework system, requiring the completion of 140 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 out of 5.00.


Program Structure

The program consists of 8 levels, with 18 weeks per level. The program hours count is 140, and the education approach is in-class.

To earn a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, students must complete 140 credit hours, including:

  • 37 units of college requirements
