M.Ed on Education and Innovation: EDUCMI04 - Introduction to Enquiry Methods and Innovation

The M.Ed on Education and Innovation program offers a course, EDUCMI04, which focuses on introducing students to enquiry methods and innovation in educational practice. This course is a common core foundation for other program-specific courses and is designed to help students develop a flexible repertoire of enquiry methods and approaches that foster improvements and innovation in educational practice.


Course Description

The course is offered over two semesters and provides opportunities for students to develop advanced skills in formulating good research questions, sampling strategies, research ethics, and field relations. Students will engage in critical evaluation of literature and develop specialized knowledge and skills of enquiry principles and procedures, and educational policy and practice to develop their enquiry and innovation designs and produce reports of their innovation projects.
