Introduction to the Bachelor of Islamic Studies Program
The Bachelor of Islamic Studies program at Mohammed Bin Zayed University for Humanities aims to provide a comprehensive and in-depth study of Islamic knowledge, including a range of compulsory and elective requirements. The program focuses on enabling students to understand the purposes of Sharia and apply them practically in a correct manner, while enhancing their abilities in deriving legal rulings and analyzing texts.
Program Objectives
The program seeks to:
- Develop students' skills in facing contemporary intellectual and cultural challenges
- Contribute to achieving sustainable development
- Prepare students to play an active role in promoting religious tolerance and intellectual security in society
- Include field training and a graduation project that allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical contexts
