Introduction to the Master Program

The Faculty of Business Administration, in collaboration with the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics, and Statistics and the Institute of Informatics at LMU Munich, introduces a new interdisciplinary Master's program, "Media, Management and Digital Technologies" (MMT), starting in the winter semester 2016/2017.

Program Description

The MMT program is designed to educate highly qualified professionals for the media and internet industry, focusing on the intersection of media, management, and digital technologies. This consecutive Master's program is fully taught in English and is free of tuition fees. It is structured to be completed within four semesters, culminating in the academic degree "Master of Science" (120 ECTS points).

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the MMT program, applicants must have completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Informatics or (Media-) Informatics with a minor in Business Administration or Media Economics, achieving a grade of 2.3 or better. Additionally, applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency at the C1 level.

Selection Process

Applicants who meet the prerequisites will be invited to participate in two consecutive selection days. These selection days include a written entrance examination and a subject-specific interview with professors from Business Administration and Informatics. Only candidates who pass both exams will be admitted to the Master's program.
