Program Overview

The Colmeias 2025 program is a extension program offered by the Institute of Language Studies (IEL) at Unicamp. The program aims to provide preparation for students from public schools who are taking vestibular exams.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the program, candidates must be regular students at Unicamp with an active RA. They must not have a scholarship for Scientific Initiation (IC) or Auxiliary Aid (BAS) from SAE.

Application Requirements

The following documents are required for application:

• A copy of the candidate's academic transcript from Unicamp
• A brief curriculum summary (optional, 1 page A4), including:
  • Current undergraduate or graduate course
  • Completed higher education course (if applicable)
  • Teaching experience (not required)
  • Volunteer activities and community actions
  • Motivation and objectives for working in Colmeias

Selection Process

The selection process involves an written evaluation (vestibular questions) and an interview. The written evaluation will take place on December 9, 2024, at 2 pm in room CL01 of the IEL. Up to 8 candidates per discipline will be selected for interviews, which will be held on December 12 and 13, 2024.

Program Details

• The program will start on March 3, 2025.
• Professors will receive a monthly stipend of R$800.10 (for undergraduate students) or R$1,043.00 (for graduate students) for 10 months.
• The weekly workload will be 6 hours.
• Classes will be held in the afternoon (1 pm to 6 pm) and evening (6 pm to 10 pm).
• Professors will be required to sign a commitment term, ensuring responsibility for their functions and attendance at monthly meetings.

Available Positions

There are positions available for in-person classes in Bar„o Geraldo and other neighborhoods, as well as a virtual option.
