Admission Requirements

Applicants to the online Graduate Certificate in Transportation Engineering must meet the following criteria:

• An undergraduate degree in civil engineering from a regionally-accredited institution or its equivalent with an overall GPA of 3.0. A GPA of 2.75 may be accepted with relevant work experience.
• GRE waived until August of 2025.
• 3 professional letters of recommendation.
• The TOEFL or IELTS scores (no more than two years old) are required for international applicants unless they have completed one year of full-time study at a U.S. university.
