Introduction to Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics
Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA), founded in 1952, is the first university in China specializing in aeronautical and astronautical engineering. The university has two campuses in Beijing and a newly established international campus in Hangzhou. With a long history of being a key university in China, BUAA is one of the country's first 16 key universities and is part of the "211 Project," "985 Project," and "2011 Plan."
Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Flight College
The Flight College of BUAA was established in 1993 with the goal of cultivating scholar-pilots. The college has one national-level first-class undergraduate major and one provincial-level first-class undergraduate major. It has also won a national first prize for undergraduate teaching achievements. Over the past 31 years, the college has trained more than 8,000 pilots for domestic airlines, with over 2,000 becoming captains. Currently, there are more than 1,000 students enrolled.
Recruitment Plan for 2025
In 2025, BUAA will cooperate with China International Airlines, Southern Airlines, and Eastern Airlines to recruit flight students in Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Hubei, Guangdong, Chongqing, Shaanxi, and Xinjiang. The specific recruitment plan will be based on the 2025 undergraduate recruitment plan released by the education examination authorities in each province and city.
Admission Requirements
- Eligible Applicants: High school graduates who participate in the 2025 national unified college entrance examination, aged 16-20 (born between September 1, 2005, and August 31, 2009), and male.
- Physical Conditions: Must meet the physical examination standards for civil aviation flight students.
- Psychological Quality: Must be psychologically healthy and meet the requirements for the flying profession.
- Political Conditions: Must meet the requirements of the civil aviation background investigation regulations.
Recruitment Process
- Registration: Candidates with intentions to apply must register on the Chinese Civil Aviation Recruitment Information System.
- Preliminary Examination: Candidates who pass the registration will participate in a preliminary examination.
- Physical Examination: Candidates who pass the preliminary examination will undergo a physical examination and psychological test.
- Confirmation of Valid Recruitment Application: Candidates must confirm their valid recruitment application on the Chinese Civil Aviation Recruitment Information System.
- Background Investigation: Candidates who pass the physical examination will undergo a background investigation.
- College Entrance Examination: Candidates who pass all the above processes can apply for the BUAA Flight Technology major and participate in the college entrance examination.
- Admission: Candidates who pass the college entrance examination will be admitted based on their scores.
Tuition and Fees
Students need to pay tuition fees according to BUAA's undergraduate tuition fee standards (5,500 yuan per year) and accommodation fees. Other fees will be borne by the corresponding airline companies according to the agreement.
Graduation and Employment
Graduates who meet the requirements of the company will be directly employed by the corresponding airline companies. The salary and benefits of flight technicians are equivalent to the national standards, and will increase with flying experience and rank.
Other Information
BUAA will adjust its recruitment methods according to national recruitment policies. The university will not charge any fees for the recruitment of civil aviation pilots. If candidates find any fake or fraudulent activities during the recruitment process, they can report to the supervisory telephone.
