Program Overview

In the course of the fellowship, the fellow will learn how to prescribe MRI protocols and will gain experience with new MRI techniques under the direct supervision of the program director and the MRI faculty. The body MRI fellows will achieve in-depth understanding of the basic principles of MRI and protocol development and optimization, with a one-month hands-on rotation with expert MR technologists.

  • Weekly didactic lectures and monthly interesting case conferences are also available.
  • Teaching opportunities include formal resident teaching assignments with supervision of residents rotating on body MRI.
  • There are ample opportunities to participate in translational MRI research projects, including cardiac imaging, oncologic imaging, genomics, and machine learning.
  • In addition to a competitive annual salary, fellows receive educational funds.
