Introduction to the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Training Program

The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) training program, hosted by Chongqing University's School of Management, aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively resolve construction engineering contract disputes. This program is designed to promote the development of construction engineering dispute review systems in China, enhance practical capabilities, and drive high-quality growth in the construction industry.

Program Background

The ADR system, particularly the dispute review board/adjudication board (DRB/DAB) mechanism, has been widely adopted in the international engineering field as an effective means of resolving construction engineering contract disputes. This system offers a timely, rapid, low-cost, and friendly approach to resolving disputes, avoiding the drawbacks of lengthy dispute resolution cycles, high costs, and delays associated with litigation.

Target Audience

The program is tailored for mediators, dispute review board members, judges, arbitrators, lawyers, cost engineers, and senior executives of construction companies, as well as individuals interested in construction dispute resolution.

Training Time and Tuition

• Training Time: December 18-21, 2025 (Thursday to Sunday).
• Tuition Fee: RMB 5,000 per person, covering tuition, teaching management fees, stationery fees, material fees, and tea break fees (excluding accommodation and meal fees).
• Certificate: Upon completing all courses and passing the course assessment, participants will be awarded a non-academic continuing education certificate for the "Chongqing University Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Training Program (First Period)".

Payment Instructions

• Account Holder: Chongqing University.
• Bank: Chongqing Bank Daxue Branch.

• Payment Deadline: Complete registration and payment by December 8, 2025.
• Note: Refunds will be made if the program is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment or if paid participants cannot attend the training.
