Program Overview: 2019 Winter Course at Universitat Ramon Llull in Spain

The 2019 winter course program at Universitat Ramon Llull in Spain is a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Spanish culture, language, and history. The program is specifically designed for students interested in Spanish culture, art, architecture, international relations, or the Spanish language.

Program Details

• Duration: January 15th to 25th, 2019 (subject to minor adjustments based on the university's holiday schedule)
• Location: Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona, Spain
• Courses:
  • Great architects and their works (focusing on Gaudí)
  • New media learning and creative discovery
  • Barcelona's art and culture
• Certificate: Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate from Universitat Ramon Llull.

Eligibility and Application Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be a full-time student with excellent academic performance and no disciplinary record
• Have a good command of a foreign language and strong cross-cultural communication skills
• Be physically and mentally healthy
• Have a valid passport with an expiration date after July 30th, 2019
• Obtain parental consent for participation

Application Process

1. Submission of Application Materials: Students must submit their application materials to the International Cooperation and Exchange Office within the specified timeframe.
2. Application Materials:

• Application form for short-term international exchange programs
• Student ID card (including photo page)
• Identity card
• Passport

3. Selection Process: A selection committee will review applications based on the principles of openness, fairness, and justice. Shortlisted candidates will be notified for an interview.

Fees and Scholarships

• Program Fee: 2600 Euros (includes course fees, local transportation, accommodation, meals, and academic activities)
• Scholarship: The university provides a scholarship of 7000 CNY to selected students. The scholarship is conditional upon the student's completion of the program and submission of a report.

Additional Opportunities

Students who participate in this program will be given priority consideration for exchange student positions (with tuition fees waived) at Universitat Ramon Llull for a semester.

• Applicants and their families should have the financial capability to cover all expenses related to the program.
• Students must purchase overseas insurance that covers the entire duration of their stay abroad.
• Participation in the program is contingent upon the student's commitment to completing the program and returning to their home university as scheduled.
