Program Overview
The DiplŰme d'Universitť (DU) in Santť planťtaire et Santť durable is a university degree program focused on planetary health and sustainable health. The program aims to develop and evaluate solutions for a more equitable, durable, and healthy world, particularly in the healthcare system and practices of health professionals.
Program Description
The program is centered on the characterization of links between ecosystem modifications due to human activities and their consequences on health. The pedagogical approach is operational, with workshops, case studies, and collective work constructed and animated by specialists in the field. The program's objectives are to:
- Apprehend integrated health approaches, including planetary health and sustainable health dynamics
- Understand the links between human activities that modify the environment and their consequences on human health and ecosystem balance
- Identify strategies for mitigating and adapting to climate change and global environmental changes
- Comprehend the implications of national roadmaps for public health policies and practices
- Design sustainable health actions in the workplace that promote planetary health and work in intersectorality
Program Structure
The program spans one academic year, with 8 modules of 2 days each, from October 2025 to May 2026. The teaching volume is 100 hours, with 3 modules in person and 5 modules online.
Admission Criteria
There are no prerequisites for the program. The program is designed for health professionals and actors who wish to contribute to or coordinate local or territorial sustainable health actions in their work environment.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees are:
- 1003 for initial training
- 2000 for continuous training with individual coverage
- 3500 for continuous training with employer coverage
Evaluation Method
The validation of the program is based on the presentation of a group project memo.
