Introduction to Zhengzhou University's 2023 Calligraphy Program

Zhengzhou University is a key university under the "211 Project" and a world-class university construction project. Recruitment Plan

The university plans to recruit 76 students for the calligraphy major in 2023. The recruitment plan for each province is as follows:

Admission Rules

1. In provinces where art majors are not divided into liberal arts and sciences, all eligible candidates can apply; in provinces where art majors are divided into liberal arts and sciences, only liberal arts candidates are allowed to apply.
2. Candidates' professional and cultural scores must reach the provincial art major undergraduate control score line.
3. For candidates who have been admitted, admission will be based on comprehensive scores from high to low. Cultural and professional scores each account for 50% of the comprehensive score. The calculation formula is:
   • Comprehensive score = (cultural score / cultural score full mark) × 100 × 50% + (professional score / professional score full mark) × 100 × 50%.
4. If the candidate's comprehensive score is the same, admission will be based on cultural scores from high to low; if still the same, admission will be based on language, mathematics, and foreign language scores from high to low.
5. If the province has clear parallel volunteer admission rules, follow the province's admission rules.

New Student Inspection

After new students are admitted, the university will conduct qualification audits and re-examinations according to regulations. Those who have cheated on exams or failed audits and re-examinations will be handled according to regulations.

Organization and Supervision

1. The Zhengzhou University undergraduate admissions leadership team is responsible for coordinating and supervising the university's special-type admissions work.
2. The entire process of calligraphy major admissions is supervised by the university's disciplinary inspection and supervision department and is open to social supervision. Those who violate regulations will be severely investigated and dealt with. Candidates who cheat on exams or admissions will be canceled for that year's admission or have their academic qualifications canceled.

• If the Ministry of Education or the province issues new regulations, the new regulations will be followed.
• If the tuition fee standard is adjusted, it will be implemented according to the latest tuition fee standard of Henan Province.
