نظرة عامة على البرنامج
Introduction to Mechanical Engineering
The Master's in Mechanical Engineering is a 2-year education that focuses on designing, developing, and implementing products, technologies, and production systems. Students will learn how to approach a problem and solve it in collaboration with other people, which is often how things are done in the real world.
Programme Structure
The programme is conducted in English and focuses on problem-based learning (PBL) and project work in groups. Students will have the opportunity to conduct experiments, build prototypes, and simulate manufacturing technology, which they can translate into technical solutions in their future job.
Specialisations
Students can choose between specialisations such as:
- Design of Mechanical Systems
- Electro-Mechanical System Design
- Manufacturing Technology
- Biomechanical Engineering
Skills and Job Opportunities
With a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, students will have the skills to plan and complete complex engineering projects from requirements specification and design to construction and prototype testing. They will gain experience in experimental methods, simulation techniques, and team-based problem-solving, and they can work with quality management, process optimisation, and advanced computational tools.
Job Opportunities
Typical job positions in the industry include development engineer, process manager, automation specialist, or research and development engineer and project engineer at companies that develop advanced mechanical solutions for industry and consumer products, or that use and develop digital tools related to products and manufacturing.
Admission and Requirements
The following Bachelor's degrees have a legal claim for admission:
- Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing, Aalborg University
